Okay so when I heard about Video Marketing For Dummies I had to check it out. So what does a connected person do first?
That’s right, I Googled it. And up came this very cute video. Take a quick minute and watch it. I’ll wait…..
Told you I’d wait…:-)
Kept your attention, right?
The beautiful part of the video is that it engaged me and it was entertaining. I was sold. Interesting that an entertaining video converted into a sale.
Kevin Daum, the founder of ROARing Video, Matt Scott, head of production for ROARing Video, Bettina Hein, founder and CEO of Pixability, and. Andreas Goeldi, the CTO of Pixability, combine their years of experience with companies large and small to pull together a great book that gives you most everything you need to create your own videos. If you are not that creative, then at least you will know the elements of good video when you pay someone else to do it for you.
Oh, you say that you don’t need video. Think again.
With the dramatic rise in the business use of YouTube, including 3400% growth over the past four years, video is becoming a must have to get noticed by your prospects. Face it, we live in a sound bite world and crisp, entertaining videos capture people’s attention much better than words on a page or site.
The book shows you how to plan your videos, select the right message and the produce them. Basically make your videos engaging and entertaining. Then there are editing tips (how, when and why to add soundtracks, etc.) and a section on how to get the viewers you want. And don’t forget that you can use your video skills to create training and welcome videos for your staff and clients.
All in all, the book is well worth the read.
